Re: Honest Engines

Actually, the CDL requirement is based on GCWR. GCWR 26,001+ with a trailer GVWR 10,000+ drives a CDL requirement even if the trailer is unloaded. They've been technically over that for a long time. i met a delivery driver last week who was driving a truck just under the CDL limit. He had decades o...

Re: Misc Thread VI: Return of the Threadi

i remember reading (and dealing with) something about the samsungs not getting timely updates, at least in the past. not sure if that's still the problem. i remember liking the interface on my S3, but it was not quick, got slower and the battery life was not good. I've gone through many generations...

Re: Misc Thread VI: Return of the Threadi

Hey all- I come seeking some advice and takes. Remember how I went in for the promotional interview that I spoke about over a month ago? I didn't get that- but it was announced the reason why I didn't get it was because they wanted me to wait out for a new team (originally centralized in an out of ...

Re: Misc Thread VI: Return of the Threadi

Samsung tried it with the S6 (no extra storage) but after the backlash they have added that back in starting with the S7 and onward. Speaking of phones. I switched to T-Mobile about a month ago and couldn't be happier. They have really built their network in the last 3-4 years. It's nothing like th...

Re: Change your rearview mirror bearing

I’m specifically thinking of periodically misjudging a curb and running it over. Otherwise when driving down the road I do turn round. can you turn down the lanewatch camera?? eye never tested them out beyond turning them on either with the turn signal or the switch at the end of the turn signal st...

Re: Change your rearview mirror bearing

At least it’ll drive nicely until the transmission shits itself. eye think your opinion may be at least a few years outdated. or meant for another brand of vehicles. I don’t know if the lanewatch feature is the same I’m thinking of which activates with the left signal; I could see that being useful...

Re: Change your rearview mirror bearing

BOO! That was a nifty little feature that I could get used to. Tell me the automotransport module was at least the 10 speed and not the rubber band. I drove one with the rubber band, and faux “gears” in 2016 and it was a sewing machine - not quite as bad as the Sentra my friend had several years ag...

Re: Change your rearview mirror bearing

The little side curb camera on the Accord is nice, but I only see nominal utility out of this. I swing my mirrors wide and prefer it that way. Then again I still turn around for all of my lane changes and can only see this really benefitting people driving box trucks or vans with no windows. No!! I...

Re: Change your rearview mirror bearing

ugh, gag me with a spoon :? edit: if this can be implemented as well as honda has integrated various technologies and changes with the new accord, then it might actually work out well. btw, eye test drove the new accord (not in manual guise - it was for my sister's hopeful near future acquisition), ...

Re: ClutchDisc's new ride

Glue it to the S10 and have a 4.5 liter I-8. Ranger's engine is good. Maybe pull it and mount in S10 Bed for a rear wheel drive setup. Then push the Ranger carcass off the cliff. Aww, there goes my You Tube fame. It's already been done: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rCSPecBl7uI Don’t worry; you’ll...
