You warm up the engine by driving the car. Start the car up and go, but never let the car idle in the mornings. If you live in colder climates, get yourself an engine heater. If the standard is so dangerous, then why are there less accidents in europe where manuals are prevelent.

Autos are more dangerous since drivers are prone to falling alseep out of bordem :lol:

I drive an automatic maxima and i hate every minute of it. A lot of my friends drive manuals and have started upgrading their cars. which makes me extremely jealous, since i refuse to upgrade my car until i convert it to a manual, if i ever do.

I think they should have seperate licenses for auto and manual. If you have an auto license you should be required to paint NOOB on the the back of your car and if you have your manual license you should be able to go over the speed limit without penalty :lol:

97 Nissan Maxima 5 speed Transmission

I curently driving a 97 nissan maxima gle automatic and i am very frustrated with the tranny. I want to swap the transmission to a 5 speed but cant seem to find any parts. Would anyone know a good place to look???
