I see, I can always count on you guys to come through with the answers. I was just curious since I see so many people rev there engines at lights in manuals, especially nice cars.

I've heard people mention that it's not good for your car to rev the engine in neutral like you see when two cars are racing. If this were the case, wouldn't the same be true of when you rev match during a DC downshift, since you are essentially just revving up the engine in neutral?
