Oh yeah I didn't expect to see a manual in my friend's '00 Saab 9-3. I've driven it though and its pretty fun, especially with the turbo charger. I knew Saabs were owned by GM so I thought they'd be like Buick/Chevy/etc and not offer manuals in their sedans, but apparently back in 2000 when his car...

ewwwww income tax. thats a load of BS. I think there should just be one flat tax for each area, instead of percentages, that way everyone has to pay only for what applies to them, and its even for everyone. how is that in any way even? if it's a flat tax of say $25k a year, and your neighbor makes ...

Yes those should be in there, but they should not be 75% of the show. More like 33%, along with 33% Japanese, and 33% European.

What really annoys me are the people who can't judge distances whatsoever with brakes. They'll brake harder than necessary, realize it, let off the brake, then get back on, get off, get on... ugh :x lol Oh, I know what you mean. It's especially bad as a passenger. Those people really can stomp the ...

Re: question about wikipedia article
Actually it is. You just need to be going about .5mph in first gear. The thermodynamically efficient combination of open throttle and low RPMs is unavailable to the automatic transmission driver.

I don't ever want a sonofabitch to tell me to put my seat belt on, goddamnit it's my life- and if i dont want to wear a seat belt, than by god i wont wear a goddamn seatbelt. Word. My brother got a ticket for not wearing a seatbelt as a passenger . It was right after his wisdom teeth surgery, too. ...

So is it better to be gentle on the brakes over a longer period of time or to hit them later and harder? Not in terms of safety or any of that useless stuff, just techinically. I tend to brake graually. My brother tends to brake harder and later and has a weird habit of letting up for about a half s...

Shaky Rotors
Aiight. I have a question. When the brakes shake at a rate proportional to the car's speed, it's the rotors, right? They're the only brake part that spins with the wheel, right? So, my brother's cars (his Passat developed some massive oil leak, and my dad gave him his car) always develop these shaky...
