Why mitsubishis??? I'd rather go with mazda...if I had to pick from the bottom of the barrel anyways.... Reason being that even though mazda's owned by ford, they still manufacter their four cylinder engines themselves. And mitsubishi/chrysler (yes, technically the same company) have been plagued wi...

100% male here :D

A lot of girls I find want to learn how to drive standard, but they get all sketched out and scared that they may not like it, or may not pick it up well so they just kinda chicken out and get an automatic.

The clutch is supposed to be the weakest point of your transmission. That's why any mechanic who knows what they are talking about will tell you not to go out and get the strongest clutch for your car if it's not necessary. And if you have an awd system, then most likely you'd be looking at upgradin...

but then again, if they do steal it, they screw your car up learning how to drive it. personally, all the "clubs" and "locks" are totally ineffective when it comes to preventing theft. All you have to do is either cut a section of the steering wheel, or take the steering wheel of...

sorry, I meant coupe. don't ask why I said boss. The MKIV supras are in high demand, but the older 3rd gen supras can be attained at a decent price, and are good fast cars. And keep in mind, that list consists of used cars too. It also depends on your definition of "affordable". The new ma...

it's pretty much the same as a stealth. I'm not a dodge/daimler/chrysler/plymouth/mitsu fan....in fact, I hate them.

Well, it's just my personal opinion...and some may disagree or agree with me...it's all just opinions. But I like my japanese cars the best. Followed by americans and europeans. Korean cars just aren't up there quality-wise. (Personally, I'm a nissan guy) ;) As for "sporty"...it all depend...

First off, your choices of cars: Hyundai Tiburon....WTF are you thinking??? (Just my opinion) Ford Mustang...v8 5 or 4.6 litre? If your just gonna be racing these in a straight line, then just get an auto mustang and race tune the tranny. There are shops that specialize in auto trannies. Start with ...

THEY'RE NOT REAR WHEEL DRIVE!!!! STUPID RICERS! ACK! Sorry, just my method of venting. I'm not too sure about the tiburon being fwd or not...but who would want one anyways?... And as for the mustang, I think a lot of us, especially in north america have had one/wanted one at one point of our lives. ...

I say we just ban the production and use of automatics. I swear, we'd have less accidents because people would be paying attention, then wouldn't let their foot off the brake and coast into the rear of the car in front of them. And most of all, if your too old or feeble to drive stick, then you shou...

Just remember, your not gonna go as fast as you do in dry weather. You can't stop as fast, and you lose traction 20x faster. There aren't really any racing tips during bad weather....there's not really anything you can do to stop faster, but as for corners, you can drift em. Especially better in a F...

Basically, use heel and toe when you wanna slow down and gear down to prepare for a turn. It's a form of rev matching but you slow down more evenly because your using your brakes while you've got the clutch in. It's the best way to slow down/perpare for a corner because you don't disrupt the balance...

Well, in general, I'd have to say street racing is stupid. But sanctioned events are sometimes too much of a hassle to do because of safety regulations and things like that. And for all the people who frown upon street racing, have you ever noticed that the people who do crash street racing, their c...
