Re: Shifting without a clutch
Thanks a lot for the advice guys. I generally have an idea how to do it right now, but if I don't have to be somewhere important and in a hurry, I think I'll just try and get it towed. I shift without a clutch whenever i feel like it. It takes practice and you can get really good at it. You cannot r...

Shifting without a clutch
I wanna know how to do it just in case. I've never really practiced it though I practice the other techniques pretty much daily.... I shifted without the clutch a couple times in my old Integra but I'm scared to try it in my car now (mainly cause I was about to sell the Integra, heh) help? How would...

Re: Misc Thread VI: Return of the Threadi
The worst is the #8 spark plug.... its literally so far back in the engine bay that its underneath the windshield. And you have to take off the coil pack rails and a couple other things to reach some spark plugs. lol at LS1 cars. why even bother giving you a hood when the whole engine is under the ...

Re: How come Toyota...
^don't some MR2s also have a engine lid strut too? I swear my brother's or my friend's had one.... but yeah most of them have the prop-rod setup. I did an oil change on my brother's MR2 once.... and that was the last time. I really am sad to see the current state Toyota's in.... fine, they're ...

Re: Tranny mods
I only have a short shifter and a shorter shifter handle... my shifter's a 2-piece unit What I want are shorter gears, thinking 3.90 (my factory gears are 3.43) but that'll probably go with either an upgrade 12-bolt or Ford 9" rear axle.... that's going to be a while away from now. Maybe'll I'l...

Re: Misc Thread VI: Return of the Threadi
My interior is black too and I usually get by without A/C for the most part - t-tops but once its get to mid-90's and up, ugh I'm turning on the A/C. I wish more cars had a crotch vent like the GM trucks and old Toyotas used to have.... I gotta say, if I sweat at all its the gooch that goes first.

Re: Misc Thread VI: Return of the Threadi
lol going back to the last page..... I feel your pain. GM engineers do the dumbest crap sometimes. They get it right once in a while, and when they do, boy do they get it right.... but when they screw up, holy crap I wanna choke them. My oil filter actually isn't that bad.... the thing is, they notc...

Re: More posts per page
O.P. - I think if there was a major sway of opinion to have more posts per page, then it might be worth spending time on it but it seems like msot of the people prefer the way it is. Thanks, but I was only mentioning it as an option.... as in, you can choose to have more posts per page if you wante...

I Go To Costco COD4 Forza 2 Left for Dead (soon) I'm kinda late to the party and I'll try to add some of you who play the same games... we need to organize the Forza 2 games. No contact and class-specific. I used to play on Live but it got kinda boring cause no one played and even would leave colli...

More posts per page
I think we need more posts per page as an option. I tried checking the user control panel and there wasn't a preference for it. I don't like it when there's so few posts on each page that I have to keep loading new pages to see more. I think we should have an option to show more posts per page. At t...

Re: Post a picture of your shifter!
flip the boot inside out, and then ziptie it as close as you can vertically to the bottom of the knob. that way none of the rod is showing and the boot holds itself up without a retaining ring I did this to my car also, I'll post a new pic of what I did. I posted a pic of my shift knob earlier in t...
