Re: Takigu's S10

There's a user on this forum, I forgot his name, who has a 1500 with the 4.3 and 5MT, and he says it's fine. Re: Takigu's S10

What happened to the Ranger? What year is the S10? I've got a plethora of S10 parts to get rid of if you're missing any. As for the auto...I'm not sure if the 4.3 was available with a stick, but if it was then it probably wasn't common. Should be easy to convert, the same engine was definitely offe...

Re: Takigu's Ranger

kind of a combination of the cracked frame and me being able to lean against the back of the cab and tip it about 6 inches off the frame which is prolly why the frame cracked where it did and the fact that the oil pan rusted through and required pulling the engine to replace it

Re: Project Christine slo Hackensteinberg

The NV3500 from an S10 with a 4.3 might solve all of those problems but its bellhousing is not removable. Thank you for that information. John and I will be looking for one of those soon. It's going to be a while, but as long as she lasts, that truck is going to get a manual swap. yeah that i did k...

As I understand, the Ranger's automatic transmission is prone to premature failure.
only with the 4.0 v6 those things eat autos big time the 3.0 autos are not to bad idk about the 4 cylinders
