No need. Vast majority of mud tires have the severe snow rating on them. Buy a set of cheap mud tires and sipe them. Just calm down, man. As long as you aren't an idiot your clutch will last for longer than you may own the car. My Jeep's clutch was replaced recently, and I seriously doubt it will be replaced again while I own it.

I would disagree here. My new clutch is completely disengaged before I am halfway to the floor, and shifting when it is disengaged will cause no unnecessary wear, IMO.
