Re: Misc Thread VI: Return of the Threadi

I know I've talked about this somewhere, at sometime on these forums but as winter is around the corner my cars been weird with 3rd gear in an under 40 F environment. It seems pretty random to me though the common trend seems to happen at a higher rate when the car is just started but it'll take a ...

Re: The new Ef One Fiddy

Yes, I have a fireplace in my apartment (technically not a house). well, guess you might want heat when it drops down to 50* down there... :P  It's 36 right now and I've got the fire burning hot in the fireplace. Going down all the way to 28 tonight. But, that's kind of rare - this little cold...

Did I miss something? Since when are there two dogburts? My infrequent time behind the wheel of my friend's F-150 leave very similar impressions. reading comp fail :?  Where's the comprehension failure? I legitimately don't recall where his ladybro's dog was in the picture. You say they...

Re: Where can you work on your car?

Still, it's easier to get Chinese than Pizza on Christmas. At that point, you beg for Chinese food and tell them you will eat it as fast as you can to get done, but that the vehicle can't be moved until you finish the food. Speaking of Chutzpah, I heard that the example of chutzpah is that when you...

Re: Where can you work on your car?

I was in a parking lot and someone was doing a fuel pump. He had the tank dropped and all that. Did not envy him whatsoever. Re: Where can you work on your car?

A week ago Saturday I helped my friend keep his 14 year old Kia exhaust alive. We rehung the catalyst and wrapped over the rotting bellows section with some aluminum sheet held in place by hose clamps. He's getting his money's worth from the car. We did it all in the parking lot of his apartment bui...
