Interesting. I tried that using Firefox, didn't seem to work. Maybe my page wasn't long enough. I can go thru web pages and forums without using the mouse. I just type the words I see and Firebox will highlight the link or I can just tab and jump to the link.

Depends what the track calls for. Do you need more top end speed or general acceleration? Final gear and gear ratios can improve acceleration or top end speed. Final Gear - Lower (like 3.9) gets better top end. Higher (like 4.6) gives better acceleration at the sacrifice of top end. Gear Ratios - Cl...

Yup! Everything squeaks when it's wet. That's why I rip up a paper bag and put it in my car. When I get in, I dry my shoes on the paper bag. It gets ride of most of the wetness and helps perserve your carpet a bit. Although, yes that's the whole point of having carpet.

I agree that the call itself is what is most distracting. But requiring the use of a hands-free kit is a step up. I don't know how many people I've seen who drive autos (with power steering) can't even make a lane change properly with one hand.

I think he means there's a delay from the time his foot presses on the gas, until the time he feels the car is responding. That's a big complaint with the DBW systems out there.

You might be treating your clutch better because your're keeping the engine speed in the more usable rpm range. With a normal 5-speed, wide ratio manual, the big drops associated with each gear shift puts more strain on the clutch since it has to work at grabbing the engine at low speed. With the 6-...

Man I had dorm food for all 4 years of undergrad. It definitely has gotten better over the years. It's also nice not having to worry about cooking a meal when you really want to study.
