Re: New Features and Products Survey
Yeah, we have been asking for years now. Heard nothing. we should try to find a print shop. I just don't know how to get the logo there. Plus I want to get permission. I was told by admin before that we cannot use the logo. :( I wish we could buy them from here. Maybe make a 5 dollar markup and mak...

I agree with you on that. I wish I had a dipstick aswell..its hard to crawl under a car that is like 8 inches off the ground..if that probably less...to stick your finger in the transmission and see if there is fluid in there...its hard!

Re: Considering buying a used car
i thought he was referring to the side of the driver seat near the door getting worn out and breaking apart and exposing foam from getting rubbed upon entry and exit but your guess makes more sense for something to worry about (you can always replace the seats if they get worn out for 1-200 clams a...

Re: Considering buying a used car
If by lack of community you mean no cool enthusiasts to go to car specific meets, etc. then I yeah maybe the civic might not be the best. If you just mean non d-bag owners, the civic is popular enough, there are plenty. Yeah I mean I am not so big into tuning my car that much. I enjoy going on driv...

Re: Considering buying a used car
totally forgot about the stupid headrests held on by one side of the seat on the 92-95 civics. mine actually was twisted slightly to the side which was a little annoying, and you couldn't adjust them. my driver seat did eventually break and i had to replace it with a newer one that was in better sh...

Re: Considering buying a used car
Subaru! Although like you said the '00-'05s had some head gasket issues. I think the '04-'05s still had some issues but less of them. If you're looking into a Subie I'd say go for an '04/'05 2.5rs. Out of the cars you listed, you'll probably pay the most for it, but I think you'll have the most fun...

Re: Considering buying a used car
Well I don't care about OBD II. That was just the years I was looking at, probably 1998 now and after...but whatever falls into my lap. The 91 I have I like is simple and reliable...just the body and the seat bolster bother the heck out of me. The lack of airbags does as well. I personally like the...

Re: How many time have you shifted from 5 to 2?
I have noticed that the different hand positions do work much better and help avoid this type of a situation...however I have missed the gate for 2nd and got stuck between 2nd and 4th...whoops. Aslong as I don't hit reverse then thats okay.

Re: Considering buying a used car
So car manufacturers and years I Am looking at are Subarus, Hondas (Acuras too), and I will consider a Toyota. For years it would be post OBD II so 1996 and after. I am looking for something fun but reliable. ok, i can understand wanting a newer car, but i wouldn't get a newer one just to have OBD ...

Re: Notchiness - what is it
I get that when it is cold. I think its because the oil is cold, after that it does not really do that. Must be that the synchronizer is not doing a good enough job and the gear is still spinning. Plain and simple the oil is cold..my 2 cents.
