I mainly drive between work, my house, and my parents' house, with the occasional outing. All within the same city. Hence the no freeway part. I drive very little since everything is so close. For the over 5 years I've had the Acura CL, I've put less than 20,000 miles on it. That's 4000 miles a year...

Cars these days are rolling computers with seats and an engine. It's inevitable. Our lives are in the hands of the engineers who programmed the software in our cars. Let's hope they programmed with security in mind (yeah right).

So, I today I thought what the heck and I tried holding the light switch in the "Off" position while starting the car. No headlights! What sucks is that I'll have to do that every time I start the car, but oh well, better than frying my headlights early.
