Re: The beast has come...

No worries with 4 lugs....there used to be all kinds of guys running 10s with slicks on 4 lugs without any issue.

Re: The beast has come...

Whelp, I have the 3.73 gear set and it would be fun, but everything is working quite well, so hate to mess with it. We aren't going to the track or planning to race, so the fun factor is the main thing and it has plenty of that. Perhaps in a year or two we will want more giddy-up and can have someo...

Re: The beast has come...

I had two of these Mustangs back in the day, both purchased new. They were quick back in the late 80s & early 90s, but by today's standards, a V6 Camry will outrun them. Still though, lots of low end torque to have fun with. My first one had the highway gears in the rear end (2.73) and my second...

Re: Roll Call. Who's still here?

A ton of what would have been on forums in yesteryear has transitioned to things like facebook groups or other social media. Most people are already logged in already, and theres also the easy ability to message someone directly and have a good possibility of a near-immediate response. The other da...

Re: Roll Call. Who's still here?

It's not just this forum. It's most forums out there, speaking mostly of automotive forums. They have been replaced by Facebook groups. Only the largest ones like The Car Lounge are still very active. You've said that before, but I'm not seeing that at all. I'm active on the Audi forums (two of the...

Re: Roll Call. Who's still here?

This forum is basically dead, but I still check in once in a while. Too bad we can't get some new blood in here. The forum is dying faster than the manual transmission....

Re: Do I need a Turbo Boost Gauge?

That's a nice, clean solution, both on the adapter and the general integration into the steering column cover. Yeah, thanks. It's really the only good option for my car. You can't put an A-pillar mount for the boost gauge because of the airbag. And the only other options are to integrate it into on...

Re: FS: 1996 Honda Civic 5 speed manual

Wow, that looks amazingly clean for a 22-year-old car with more than 200K miles. Just need to polish those headlights to make them clear again and you've got a winner....

Re: Do I need a Turbo Boost Gauge?

Old thread, but new post. I recently acquired a podi pod for my boost gauge that replaces the top section of the steering column. Unfortunately, it's designed to fit a 45mm gauge and I'm not a big fan of the podi boost gauges, so I had to make my smaller ECS boost gauge work. So I machined a piece o...

I think that's relatively new. I remember reading that they were going to put an actual manual transmission in those little toy cars. :D

Re: Everything you NEVER Wanted to Know About Stop/Start

yeah, the SS isn't that busy lately, not dead though (it has been at times though). makes me wonder if members are cheating on the SS, or maybe they're just busy. i go on other forums, but usually come back to check the SS, despite not even driving manual anymore. not many new members lately, that ...

Here's another pic, but this time in the garage of my new house. Garage is almost finished, but not quite yet.
