A new subcompact car to compete

Post by bk7794 »

Seems that mitsubishi is getting into the subcompact market with the Mirage. http://www.autoguide.com/auto-news/2013 ... bined.html

I was on their website when I found out about it, http://www.mitsubishicars.com/MMNA/jsp/ ... irage_0001

That may be even more ugly than the old Mitsubishi Mirage was.

Meh. That one looks like a generic little coupe.

Actually quite a good looking car. Kind of an 80s-ish look. I like it! Modern cars look like they were styled by the stylists at Hot Wheels--ugh! :x

Was this the bastard child out of some partnership with Toyota? It looks related to the Prius C, or Yaris (I know, they're both technically platform siblings).

This looks a little Metro-ish. Specifically it looks like it started life as a hatchback and they just plopped on a boot for those who decided a sedan was all they could drive.

Speaking of horrible automotive designs, what was Ford thinking when they designed the 2012 Explorer?:

Ugly. The Subcompact market is getting quite competitive and there are great options out there. If all you want is a bottom dollar price, go with a Nissan Versa.

It's not certain whether Mitsu will even remain in market, so I'd be weary buying it with an unknown dealer/service support future.

I showed my wife the Mirage and she's in love. I showed her competitive cars in the price range, Spark, Versa Note, Fiesta, she's still wants the Mirage.

I think the new Explorer looks fantastic...at least for an SUV.

I'm going to be THAT guy and say "it's not BOF, do not want!", because I can.

I have no real reason why other than being that guy rules, sometimes.

It has guy liner.
