board changes

Post by Standardshifter »

Had to make some drastic changes to the board search to keep us happy with the ISP. Just a temp solution until we get to the bottom of what's causing the trouble. Stay tuned...

Looks like you had a dropped table... SQL injection problem? (Kind of often on PHPBB).

They disabled a table? Thats kind of weird.

Because I was getting "table doesn't exist" and only for one table. Not a "Database cannot be reached" or some such error.

How long were we out? I must have missed that. Glad to see that things are relatively back to normal. :) No errors yet this morning.

Yeah, things seem to be flowing smoothly for the time being. Over the last few days, it was quite a chore to access the board. :x

Now we just need to wait for the main page topic list's return.

It's a web developer thing...

(I may only know the very very basics of PHP, and only a little bit of the terminology of SQL in general, but I basically got the whole thing...

I second that GRR, standardshifter. Why'd they do that?
