http://www.google.com/search?q=197000km+to+mi says that's 122,000 miles. Google calculator FTW.

Leedeth, has the engine been fixed so it's running on all 8 cylinders?

No, but I did just change the blinker unit which should add an additional 50 horsepower!

I still think you should keep the damn thing, for various, very good reasons.

I don't agree that Leedeth should keep it. He's not happy with it and doesn't like it (plus it probably reminds him of the bad day when he bought it). No amount of logic can overcome the personal dislike of a car (at least for some people).

He's not happy with it because his dad says his death star has more power (wtf?)
His dad also says he doesn't like loud cars, says it's a tank, and just because it lopes and it's down a cylinder that the engine is going to grenade itself...

You know what, here I'll just spell out my special deal for you Standardshifters.

I'll cut to the chase and name the lowest price I'll let it go at immediately if anyone offers this amount.

$4000 CDN.

I just want to get the money back that I sank into the car. There's a bit extra there of course because I know you guys will barter me down.

And you're not going to find a car like this in Victoria, there's a few similar cars on the listings but they're automatic.

For example: http://www.usedvictoria.com/classified-ad/7975887

And this one, who's going to want to buy a car from a person who posts in ALL CAPS?: http://www.usedvictoria.com/classified-ad/6693345

I'm going to change my ads on other sites, they will be $5000, but here it will be $4000.

And to qualify you must be a member of Standardshift.com with at least 500 posts, which will mean you're a regular. I'm lenient on this rule here so if you're from Vancouver and have 100 posts, I can cut you a deal, but the rule is just there so nobody takes advantage of my special price.

I'm happy with the car, but not quite. It's the little problems that really make the car shit. I no longer like how the gauge cluster is laid out, the exhaust 4-2-1 is shit, I want true dual exhaust with H or X pipe because the sound will be better (I think), there's just no goddamn room for the exhaust under the car, so it hangs lower than it should.

I guess I'm expecting the car to be perfect and everything to be laid out exactly as I want it. I just wanted V8 with a 5-spd so damn bad, and it was a good price so I went for it.

For my next car I will be test driving as many as I can before I buy. I need to know everything about the car and how it feels and drives and how everything is laid out before I hand over any cash.

This purchase was rushed, just like the purchase of the MX-3. And look how it turned out. Shit, just like the MX-3.

My dad thinks the engine is going to break down because it's down 1 cylinder. He's scaring me.

He's been right about so many things before, so why should I doubt him now? If this thing dies on me then I'm out on 3000 cash, which is a farking huge load of money for me.

It doesn't have as much power as it should and that's also one of the main reasons I dislike it.
