18's, I think. They might be a tad big on your 3.

John you should get these! :D
The tires are 3% too big (215/40/18 would be best) but that doesnt really matter. These would be unique. I havent seen a single Mz3 with these. And for the price, its a real bargain!

Bolt pattern and offset is perfect!

Tire size would be a non-issue since they have to be replaced soon anyway.

There is one concern for me if John gets these, however. Any indications an 18x7 wheel would rub in a Mazda3? It is fine for an MS3, but the fenders are wider on it.

Also, these are probably a little heavier than John's stock wheels.

darn I think the offset is wrong for my Civic, but I'm not sure.

haha

Been kicking around the idea of replacing my stock 16s, be kind of funny to be driving a Honda with Mazda wheels on it.

You'd become a target for ricers... Every ricer would either go "Damn brotha, dat's some mad tyte sh!t. Now you gots to get some NOS and new paint & sh!t, yo!" or "Mazda wheels?! WTF is your problem? HONDA FOREVER, beehotch!"

I, however, think that's a neat idea.

However, hubcentricity is an issue...

I don't remember where the thread is, (or when it was, for that matter) about the wheel bolts breaking off... Wrong bolts, in that case, but hubcentricity still matters...

I just double checked the specs on putting 18s on my car.. the offset is only 7mm different, which wouldn't really be a problem, but I'd need 215/40/R18 not 45, so my speedometer would be wrong at best and they would rub the wheel well at worst.

I have some Honda center caps that don't fit my wheels, wonder if they would have fit the Mazdas. Moot point, regardless.

They do fit... People put RX-8 rims on and those are MUCH wider than 7"

^ Yeah, they are 18x8.

Okay, let's wait and see if John wants them. Hope he makes a decision soon, I'm starting to get offers from Mazda6Club.

Here's an indication of how they might look:

With John's actual Mz3:
