CAI (cold air intake)

Post by Takigu »

well i have been looking around at CAI's for the avenger and i was wondering about how much do they normally cost cause i found one for like
$290 http://www.autoanything.com/air-intakes ... 4A0A0.aspx theres the link you might have to put in the model, make, and year it's a '98 dodge avenger 2.5L V6. just wondering if that is a good price. or would i be better off going to like a napa store or ricer zone or something

 That switcheroo was kinda funny. $290 IS ridiculous though, it's like OEM CAI's for slae.

Interestingly, in that link, when you click on manufacturer and what not, there's no VW.

Not that I'd readily buy from there, just a note.

Buy ebay. I always research and pick a name brand product, then buy it for half price on ebay. Or at least get free shipping

The "name brands" are sometimes replicas on Ebay. Just keep that in mind. They use geniuine insignia, labels and stickers.

Other than the filter why would name brand matter? They're all plastic anyways...
