Need help with enginepart's order

Post by mad_finn »

So I have little situation here...
Parts wich I would need, is idler pulleys (cambelt pulleys), for mazda 929 (HC) yearmodel -90, with 3.0 v6 18valve SOCH engine, motorcode JE something.
Here any sparepart store dont have those because the car/engine is so rare here, that it would be only waste of money and space to keep those in sale,
and Mazda dealership is onlyone wich could order those, but it would cost so much that it would be cheaper to buy some other car instead of those pulleys

I have found few dealers in USA, and asked a price wich they would agree to send here in Finland,
but all have anwsered that they do not send anything, for any price to privete persons outside USA. and not even to any small company

Now im asking if anyone would order those parts, and send them for me "cash on delivery".

So tell me if anyone is intrested to help me a bit. and name the price wich I would have to pay for the parts, mail, and ofcourse some little fee for you too. :)

Hmm. What's cam belt pulley in Finnish? Jakohihnan kiristin? I was just thinking because they have one of those in Motonet. It's pretty expensive :o

Would it be possible to have them made, or modified from another car? It may be cheaper than shipping them, and you wouldn't have to worry about what happens if something's wrong with the one that was shipped.

kiristimen rulla, or/and ohjurirulla... 3 pulleys to be exaxt... and that kiristin, I have found one new on ebay, payed 40€ plus mail and customs, so I got it under 55€

Euro vs USD 1€ = 1.34 USD

Modifying, think it is possible but to get it working so that I dont lose any reliability... I just want the original part.

The pulley is chromed steel, and on those old ones the chrome surface is damaged so badly, that it will destroy the new cambelt. in 5000-7000 miles, and im not going to chance it evry 3000miles because it should last 35000

just those 3 pulleys would cost me 572€ (mazda orginal) thats 764USD roughly

and by the way, I have had some issues with motonet, wrong parts, "copy" of original, but it just dont fit, or will broke down after a few months.
alltough, in usual cars you get guite good and working parts, but these wich are guite rare, nothing

Foud these from Sweden, still 50(USD) more expensive than it would be ordering from US, but still way over 425(USD) cheaper than buying these from Finland
