You're both right, leaving the scene of an accident is definitely preferable to a DUI, legally. I can be dumb sometimes.

And yes, there really is no excuse for drunk driving. I'm not condoning it, the selfishness of it makes me sick. Many of us have lost friends to drunk drivers, I don't mean to sympathize with drunk drivers. Apologies if it came off that way.

Basicly yes, but there are minor differences around world.... for example here are speed limit signs, all are in different colors/shapes but you will get the point what it means

so basicly, if there was question (there wasn't)
"Is speed limit sign allways a
A white rectangle with black letters
B white circle with red outline, and black letters
C (ETC)

IF I wouldn't know better, I would anwser D... bacause here they are red & yellow circles with black letters...
A would be the correct anwser, I have seen so many photos where you can see speed limit sign :)

We have yellow speed limit signs, too, but they're still rectangular, have black borders, and are advisory (I.E., nonbinding unless there's an accident).

Speed limit signs do vary greatly, even in one country. We have orange work zone signs, various white signs, and others of all shapes and colors. Theyre all pretty damn obvious what they mean though, regardless of where in the world one may be.

All the important signs are universal though.

I didn't know that those are not required. I thought they were just as enforceable but yellow to warn of additional caution required. Cool...

A mythical pattern found on the road-contacting surface of the tire. Rumored to have existed in the past, but difficult (at best) to find in this economy.

Don't tell anyone, but I have tread: 4 matched like-new tires for the VW, 2 decent snow tires and one brand new M+S all season tire for the truck...that reminds me, I gotta check my spare tire and see if it's got good tread.

Speaking of driving tests...

I went to renew my license a few weeks ago and this time had to take the written test, which included all the signs (well their shapes) and what not. I got a 100%. I believe that any person who is up to renew their license should be able to score highly on the test. After all, this is something that we see and use every day. There should be no excuse.

So i found out that this quiz says on the highway question that you are supposed to enter at the speed of the highway (the flow of traffic) I thought that was the practical answer not the Law abiding answer...

Those signs on ramps are recommended. Not the legal speed limit. By law you must enter the highway at the speed of traffic so long as it does not exceed the speed limit.
