I'd say that if the El Camino were resurrected with the Holden Maloo/Ute, I'm sure GM (and Chevy) would modify that front end, and some other things. Keep in mind, Australian cars have different features from American cars due to regulations. In any case, didn't Pontiac have a concept car that was a truck?

They did yes, but as it stands now, there is no American GM car related to the Holden Maloo/Ute in production. And you're probably right on that bet. Though, knowing that GM has destroyed nearly all of their Saturn EV stock back in the 90s, I doubt there still exists any leftover Pontiac stock.
