Re: 2011 Honda CR-Z
Wow, "What a brand means" was being discussed on Autoline After Hours and they got into it on what's gone wrong with Honda. It was almost like a wake. Everyone talked about what they remembered about the "Old" Honda, like Honda was dead or had Alzheimer's now or sumpin'.

I'm saving up to hopefully buy a 94-99 Toyota Celica GT-Four, sex on four wheels right there. Keep it in mint condition as long as I can, I think it'll be a long time before the next great Toyota is made.

If Toyota had released that in the US (it's my understanding it was limited to Great Britain, Australia and Japan), it may have had a chance to compete with the Mitsu Eclipse AWD- in the States.FDSpirit wrote:In Honduh rumor news:

The first round of GT-Fours started being imported last year or two years ago (in Canada, RHD vehicles from Japan can be imported if they're at least 15 years old). There's one on sale locally:

It's amazing how something can be so beautiful and so beastly at the same time. I was never fond of the 6th gens until I saw the GT-Four, now I'm smitten.

Re: 2011 Honda CR-Z
I agree with you all regarding the grille. Cars today to much look like something from a Sci-Fi movie. I do admit though, for someone like myself who mainly drives to work and back or takes long road trips either by myself or with one other person, this would be a good car. Definitely a manual transmission would be the only way to go in a car like that. I have to wonder something odd though, would someone like myself who is really big (5'10" 290 pounds or about 21 stone) be able to fit in a small car like that, LOL? I had the worst time the one and only time I got to drive a Corvette.

5'10" isnt big at all. In fact, its rather average.

I don't like the stats, but I like the looks of the CRZ. Sue me!

It isn't ridiculously ugly. It is basically a 3 door Insight with a six speed manual gearbox though. I don't like the direction Honda is taking with their designs personally. Same with Acura. I dread that if someone crashes head on into one of those, the grill is gonna cut the car in half! The new Civic Sis, IMO, aren't bad looking though. The coupe at least. I have never been a real big fan of their 4 doors.
