Dodge Charger is a Charge Dodger - Gets 6.4L, NOT Volt Meter

Post by Rope-Pusher »

From Autoweek report from the Chicago Auto Show:

"Gilles called his latest Dodge demon a car he could drive across the country in, and he left open the possibility of a manual transmission entering the fray.

"We're listening to our customers very closely," he said.

Mopar fans, make your voices heard."

That front end is butt-ugly and I'm no Mopar moper but if I can vote for a 3 pedal version I'd be happy to...just tell me where to click.

Dear Mr. Marchionne,

Not all of the drivers in North America are dead. Please consider offering Amish versions of all the Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram vehicles, but at least make sure that you take care of the performance-oriented ones right away for sure, right?

Sincerely,
TheHolyCow

I find the new front end purposefully aggressive in an appealing way. Probably because I'm desensitized by several generations of the I'm-fixing-to-eat-you styling of Lancer Evo's and STi's.

A car lounger summed it up perfectly:

"It's like the baby of a GTR and an EVO X. And then they stretched it"

My opinion: Don't think want. The rear bumper looks absolutely retarded when you're looking at it from this view

Can I just have the new engine in the old car?

6-speed from the Challenger SRT-8 + new engine + the mild refresh of the 1st gen Charger = freakin' sweet.

1. write that sentence on a piece of paper
2. put it in an envelope
3. write it out to Dodge's design headquarters and mail it

Cove doesn't jump out at you in most pictures - forming that shape in steel is more difficult than in fiberglass.
