Way Down, Below the Overpass,...

...Where I wanna be, she may be..
The city of Atlanta was an Indian settlement which lay along the Chattahoochee River,
in the area we now call the Redneck Valley.
So great an area of land, that from her western boundaries
you could see folks drivin' past Luther's fillin' station along I-285,
in their cars with hand-painted fenders.
To the East, I-285 also passed, out half-way to Stone Mountain.
The great Confederate States of America is but a remnant of The Atlantian culture.
The antediluvian kings colonised the backwoods
All the Gods who play in the mythological dramas
In all legends from all lands were from fair Atlantis.
Knowing her fate, Atlantis sent out pick-m-ups to all corners of the U.S. of A.
On board were the Twelve:
The post-hole digger, the tailgater, the one-toothed, red-neck biker, the scientologist,
The moonshiner and the other so-called Gods of our legends.
Though Gods they were -
And as the elders of our time choose to remain blind
Let us rejoice and let us sing and dance and ring in the new
Hail Atlantis!

"Porsche made it official on Thursday that it will build a new North American headquarters complex in Atlanta.

The new HQ, which will be next to the Atlanta airport, will include a 1.6-mile test track and an off-road driving area. The track will be used for driving schools.

Here's an interesting note: The site of the new Porsche HQ is where a Ford assembly plant used to stand, building the Ford Taurus and Mercury Sable. It was closed five years ago and has been demolished."
