This just started in the 2013 model year so AHTOXA is correct. 2012 Kia Rio5 SX was auto only and the Hyundai Accent GLS was a bit lacking in features compared to the Rio5 SX.potownrob wrote:things are different in canadaAHTOXA wrote:Interesting. For 2012 year, the push button start was not available on manual transes for Kia - only on the autos.DKaz wrote:You can get a fully loaded Rio5 SX and Accent GLS hatch at least in Canada (that I know of) with stick. Push button start, auto climate control, and all that.
Another one, the 2014 Mazda 6 is available in all trim levels in Canada with manual or auto, but the auto is a $1,200 upcharge on the base GX model and a no charge option on the GS and GT model. That's a head scratcher. The Mazda 6 in the USA gets a manual in the base Sport and midlevel Touring only, I believe the auto transmission is a no charge option on the Touring.
