"In enthusiast circles, the crop of purely manually shifted vehicles on sale today -- SRT Viper, Ford Focus ST, Honda Civic Si, and company -- is well-documented. There aren't many. But the yield would have been greater had the following nine cars* bucked up and held out against going automatic."

Necro-thread, just read. Why is 160 hp a demerit for the Cinquecento requiring a manual? It weighs less than a shoe.

Your shoe weighs 2,500 Lbs? And all this time, I thought you had a lead foot.

RWD, manual, lightweight, low price, presumably good fuel economy...if only it didn't look like a clown car, a clown whore, AND a cop magnet. I bet insurance wouldn't be cheap either.
If the car was to be offered in the United States (and thats a big if), wed expect all those numbers to be a little higher: more power, a little more weight and a somewhat higher price tag.
...oh, nevermind.
