Anyone up for a meet?

Post by bk7794 »

Hey calling anyone from the CT, MA and Eastern NY area. Maybe one day we should do a meet. I don't know what we would do, where we would go or meet. I would just like to see if anyone is interested.

Thanks

i'd be down for a meet. and yes, there will be food, even if it's not a camping trip. based on past meets i've been to (WV '08, '10 & '11, and Long Island '07) it'll be a good time. just a disclaimer (for those that may not know) that i no longer have a manual car.

hey, if tony and watkins had said that about the WV meet last year, poor tony would've been alone for 4 days waiting for watkins to show up (of course i know he would've found ways to keep busy and have fun) :o  8)

not sure where bk lives in CT and anything east of Newtown/Monroe, CT (a little east of Danbury) I'm clueless about. I'm up in Poughkeepsie.

My father used to live in Monroe...and my uncle lives in the Poughkeepsie area. It will probably be in spring or summer. I just would like to know if anyone is interested. Maybe both spring and summer.
Anyways I am in central CT...but ct is small and I like to drive.

I guess if you want to drive haha

haha

I was actually thinking doing a backroad drive and eating somewhere. But ideas would be welcomed. Maybe we can setup a poll and such. I will take a look at the map tonight. I am really excited and hope we can all get together.

So I went out for a ride the other day and went down route 7. It is a nice twisting and turning road. Google maps it and tell me what you think of its location and such. Its in CT.

do you mean route 7 that runs into 84 near danbury/bethel?? that's not too far from me and my sister works at duracell right there in bethel. i haven't driven that road in a while but i don't remember liking it much other than north of there closer to mass. the stretch that runs south of danbury near ridgefield etc. is ok but nothing too interesting from what i remember.
