does force feedback make a difference? because i can't keep my car on the track, much less make bad time.

your analysis is pretty accurate. Your absolutely right, you don't have the feel in the game, and this is a major part of racing, however most other aspects are decently accurate. You can learn the racing line from the game. You can learn racecraft if you race against others. You can learn how to break down a track and figure out where you can improve. you can even learn pretty good car control.

Your right, with the lack of feel, it does take some getting used to. And there are of course some nuances that take some time to get comfortable with too.

I'm going to get on now. Let me know if you want to join.

hey, i'm here if you wanna race. i think i'm gonna get a force feedback wheel off ebay if it's cheap enough, because i'm just collecting cars on the track and people are not happy.

what's the story with the force feedback. do i need it or what? because i'm all over the place, and way above the lap times of others.

dnag. it'll have to be tmrw. too tired now.

You shouldn't need force feedback. It just takes some getting used to.

do you have time tomorrow? when?

alright, i'm here. i only have a rookie license, so i can only "practice" in the legend's rookie car (AFAIK).

just as well, i can't stay on the track anyway. i'm thinking force feedback is necessary.

you have the legends, solstice and spec racer ford.

lets try some legends and solstice practice, and find a practice server without many other people on so we can run together, chat and not distract others.
