i can't really do heel toe cause the gas is too deep(like i explained in many topics already) well anyway i don't use parking break to climb hills.. but as soon i lear i'll try it
I generally don't heel-toe either. I can move fast enough with the gas and clutch that the roll-back is negligible on most hills. On the boat ramp, I have the parking brake applied anyway, so I might as well make use of it to start out too. And before a corner, I can double-clutch into the new gear before I start braking if I think I'll need power during the corner.
Maybe if the truck were set up better for it, I'd look at it more seriously. But I've never really needed it enough to fight with it. The few times I've tried it, it worked OK.
