Just a couple of cars I saw lately

Post by 94Corolla5Speed »

I usually take pics of cars with my cell phone if they look nice (only a little stalker-ish), here's a few from the past couple days: (Location posted for any Chicagoan, the GLI and the Mas are usually at said places every day)

Image
Cobra I saw at Home Depot near Oakton and Mccormick, right by Steak n' Shake

Image
Maserati Gransport (I think) on Howard in the parking lot near Howard and Frontage

Image
First gen Jetta GLI and late 80's 4WD Civic 6-speed on Lehigh near Lehigh and Oakton (these are usually there 24/7, the Jetta hasn't moved since last spring)

And for you, Ted:

Spot me a few nice Jeeps. Then tell me where they are parked.

Destroy the pictures when I tell you. Never speak of this again.

i saw a clean terminator when i was driving thru the parking lot looking for a spot. naturally i slowed down to look at it, got closer and saw that its a vert. what a waste.

i still made a point to walk by it on the way in, and it takes some balls to leave a car like that with the top down in the hood. stock clean terminator, if only it wast a vert.

not many cars work well as a vert. s2k works because it was designed as a vert. zonda F works because its a zonda. americans dont have the skills or engineering to make a vert work.

vert vettes make me want to puke. i have a hard time thinking of any more of a old people/financial advisor poser car than a convertible vette. you know damn well those things only get driven to the golf course and never see over 2000 rpms, when they got 7000 or so to play with

Nice, I think that's a '86 GT? That gold paint was only offered in 86. Good job spotting it, lol.

Anyways, here's what I saw today, a NSX-R (fake?):

Internet Drama, god I love it.

Am I the only one that finds sports/super cars boring to look at most of the time? Not that they're all ugly but most of them just don't make me say WANT!

Maybe I'm just crazy with my hatchback/ station wagon likingness.

Also: DeLorean, we need more of them on our roads.

Tinton, jeez, it's been a day, I've had threads that weren't replied to for days on end, take it easy man...the NSX looks awesome

Here's a bunch from today:

Image
First up, a VW 412. I had no idea these cars existed before today. Slush though, fail. Near Lou Malnati's on Lincoln

Image
Then a Jetta GLX VR6 for my perverse love of VR6's. Near Lou Malnati's on Lincoln

Image
Image
I saw this THREE days in a row, the first 2 times were on the street, now I finally got these shots of it parked at the Lou Malnati's on Lincoln.

Image
House of JDM  Right off of Crawford and Touhy

Image
Lol, just...lol. Spotted this one on Crawford and Howard

ETA: I fail. I found out from a FB friend, (who, consequently, works at this baller place), that it's a Starlet.
