Love it, but I absolutely fell in love with this a few years ago when I read about it in MT:

I was blown away by this, I have no idea why. It just feels like this car has something those showroom fresh resto's don't have; it has a story, a soul, it has passion.

Yeah that's pretty bad ass and I completely agree with the appeal of the car being heightened by being able to see the history on it. One thing I have to give props to for the owner of that cobra I linked to though, is that he apparently still drives it quite frequently. It's all prettied up for that car show but it does get used.

Sweet. Good for him, I know if I had that car I'd drive the hell out of it too.

It really bugs me when somebody's got a nice, older car and all they do with it is: back it out of the garage once a month, shine it, drive it back into the garage. To me 110% of the experience of owning an older car is enjoying it, which to me means getting it out on the road.
Two pedals, two feet, too easy.

My philosophy exactly. I don't think I could ever own a true show car, because I absolutely love to drive.

Any car. It doesnt even have to be an old car. If I have a car, I will use it. Yes, that includes going to the hardware store and putting a few 2x4s in a Lambo, or strapping a sheet of plywood to the roof of a Bentley. Grocery runs in a GT? Sure, why not?
