Jay Leno's 1964 Honda S600
If you have a spare 15 minutes, watch this video. The Honda S600 is an amazing little car, and the noise it makes is intoxicating:

I also find 60s Japanese cars fascinating. Nice car I think there is an S600 that looks the same but is dark blue in Sega GT Online.

I thought it would sound like an old triumph or something. I did not expect that at all. When he did a pass-by it sounded like an F1 car. I've actually got goosebumps.
Two pedals, two feet, too easy.

That's exactly how I felt. Once he passed by I was like "Whoa!" That little sucker sounds amazing!4onthefloor wrote: I thought it would sound like an old triumph or something. I did not expect that at all. When he did a pass-by it sounded like an F1 car. I've actually got goosebumps.

Nice. It has the signature Honda sound.
Of course, I had to bring this one up: http://www.jaylenosgarage.com/cars/cosmo_shell.shtml

that little car is amazing. i love jay leno for his car enthusiast...ness. he became rich and famous but in the end of the day he's just a run of the mill car lover. its good to see that with money and fame it doesn't destroy a persons true dreams and personality. well at least for some people (read like maybe .01%)

+1. I'd love to hang out with Jay Leno, he seems like an awesome guy. And oddly, I could see it happening. I bet he'd prefer the company of average people who love to shoot the shit about cars all day, rather than sitting around eating caviar, drinking champagne and fapping into $100 dollar bills with other super rich Hollywood people.LHOswald wrote:that little car is amazing. i love jay leno for his car enthusiast...ness. he became rich and famous but in the end of the day he's just a run of the mill car lover. its good to see that with money and fame it doesn't destroy a persons true dreams and personality. well at least for some people (read like maybe .01%)

That was an awesome vid . Loooove that engine sound.
And Mr.Leno needs to get himself an FD to add to that Mazda collection . I'm seriously thinking of taking that white one out for a spin just to say I've driven an RX-7.

Wow, 9500rpm. That's like max rpm for my engine. And even then, the valves would be dancing on the hood.

I don't find Jay Leno funny. Always thought The Tonight Show with Leno was a bad ripoff of The Late Show. That being said, when he's not trying to be funny, he seems like a really cool guy.

I love the fact that he still drives the piss out of his cars, and stops to chat with random people that wave at him on the road. If you watch the video of his Ariel Atom, he is actually tooling around in it on public roads, which I'm fairly sure is illegal. Unless his is somehow modified to be street legal.
Hello world.

I believe that I remember hearing that the Atom WAS street legal from the review that Top Gear did. Granted, that's in Britain, but I would presume it would be similar requirements over here.

It's street legal. They had to swap the 300hp Supercharged Honda Type-R engine for a 300hp Supercharged Chevrolet Ecotec engine to meet emission requirements. The only difference is it will break sooner.camera_man wrote:I believe that I remember hearing that the Atom WAS street legal from the review that Top Gear did.
