DiRT 2 had a coming out party in the UK and not only did Ken Block join the festivities, he decided to surprise some big-talking gamers with a couple of hot laps. If we could take anything from the demonstration, it's that Ken Block looks to be just as badass when driving on the other side of the car. Oh, and there's also the comedy – check out the guy who screams in silence and the other one who looks like he's practicing lamaze breathing. Follow the jump to see the vid.

I agree with one of the comments, stupid shit-talking noobs who sit at home and play this on their gaming consoles all day freak out like little girls with the real thing (to our great amusement), while those of us who would dream of sitting in the passenger seat here get to only watch the youtube video and dream on...

Sort of like Counter-Strike or CoD shit talkers, give them a real firearm and they'd probably complain it was too heavy

what a bunch of pussies, i bet none of them could actually drive a real car.. and they shit talk all day at how good they are at racing because of a f**k game. f**k them

damn lol.

I get it though. I mean with anybody that has felt any type of drifting, say even snow drifting. It's definitely a cool/almost scary feeling, you add the 500+ hp subaru, a pro drifter, and jumps even feel awesome. So I find it understandable that these people are shitting bricks, because not many people have felt a car slide at 60+ kph, or ~40 mph.

I have been racing with ~180-220 hp RWD cars, done jumps about 2 feet off the ground 10 feet in longest distance, holded slides on 100kmh (~60mph) on dirt/gravel/tarmac surface.... and I'd love to get in Ken's car, (on passager side).

Still. I belive I would be at least bit scared there 8)

Yeah that cocky guy was pretty lame, but lets be honest here, you'd most likely be screaming like a little girl if you were a passenger in that car too. I can almost guarantee you wouldn't be as prepared as you think you'd be for that ride.

I laughed a lot at the "my co-driver never screams when we crash" part though.

the drivetrain loss on subaru's are retardedly high though. so he might actually have something like 500 BHP

I'm pretty sure those rally-type subies are tuned for max torque rather than horsepower. Although that may not be the case with this one since I thought they usually limited it to 300whp IIRC.

Plus that thing probably weighs like nothing since it's stripped down so much.
