Interesting discussion about weight saving designs coming out of GM. Slides show how new components compare to heavier components from previous vehicle. Also talks about strategies on where to cut weight for the most effect.

That was a good discussion, good to see GM moving towards lighter structures. Lightness breeds better performance, handling and economy!

Good to have the chief engineer there, seemed very knowledgeable and emphasised doing the basics right
