Fast shifting

Is fast shifting necessary when drag racing, and i mean something like

^ Yes, if you are serious about it, since every shift is an interruption in the time you have to apply power, sew ewed knead too shipht fassed two redoose the interruption time.

You only need to shift as fast as how fast the RPM falls to the target RPM in the next gear.

Like, if your target RPM is 5000, then you need to be ready to clutch out slightly before that.

Wait.

You can get extra power by shifting fast and using the momentum of the engine, while dragging the RPMs down, to further boost the car's speed.

So I guess you need to shift as fast as possible.

And in low power wehicles, wich dosen't have enough power to cause wheelspin, you can keep full throttle while you are shifting.
it will cause similiar effect to this

only bit stronger, and RMP's dont fall aslow like thy would here, but causes greater risk to brake your differential, gearbox, and engine.

I imagine that fast everything is necessary in drag racing.
