"Stance" - as much as I hate that word now - is very subjective. How wide are the spacers?

Also, what kind of tire do you use?

This is a VW stance I can stand. Lowered, but not slammed; spaced out, but flush and not poking; nice wheels but no stretch. Thumbs up from me!

The spacers are 15mm and the wheels have a 35mm offset which poked them out just a hair more than stock, but was still tucked deep into the fenders. Now it's flush, but not Hellaflush. Also the tires are Dunlop Direzza DZ101 225/45/17...stock tire size for MKIV GTI's...no stretch here.

Thanks mane! I have just the right amount of low...car handles like it's on rails, looks good, AND I can go over speed bumps! Slowly of course
I do wish my wheels had moar stretch, but the lips stick out just a bit and me likes. Also woulda liked moar poke in the rear, but I already rub when I have a passenger and I don't want to destroy my newish tires. I think the stance is spot on with a good balance of show AND go.
