Actually, if I read a post correctly I can actually adjust the actuator arm on the wastegate (or something) to hold a little more boost. I am waiting for the forum to come back up, HD died on the host server. But I think I'll wait until I get through the break in first heh.
Recommended break-in is 600 miles, according to the owners manual, but I'm going to do the 1000 miles then oil change.

That is correct. That's what we dubbers call the "wastegate tweak". It's a way to get a few pounds of free boost but if you open it up too much you can destroy your engine. I personally haven't done it, but I've read that others have done so with good results. I'm sure the aftermarket will be kind to the Genesis coupe. All you need is a turboback exhaust and a manual boost controller and you're car will be a beast...but if you want to keep it stock, wastegate tweak should be good. Then again, I don't have to tell you that seeing that you recently climbed out of a Scubysaurus Rex :)

Bumpity for added pic and meet link in 2nd Post.

Meet was a few GC owners and others interested in the car. So there other cars there too. The dealership sold 3 GCs and a few other cars while we were there. Too effin' hot but there was free food and drinks and people could test drive a reflashed 2.0T (one of the owner's car).

Nice ride! Though I thought you should've left your financing details out. It's like hooking up with the hottest girl in town then finding out she's actually a guy.

So, I went out to do a video review of my car. They were craptastic, so I won't be posting those up. I also took a few pics and here are a few.

This is how I set up my camera for in car videos. It's okay but there is too much noise from it being pinned between the back seat and pretty much the frame of the car.

Oh and Whaever is a login I started using for GenCoupe Forums.

Wow, great pictures! Seriously...I don't think I've ever seen someone post such great photos. I've seen plenty of great cars and backgrounds, but never such good photos.

Have you seen my thread on interior mounting suggestions? Pinned between the backseat and "pretty much the frame" is one, but I had plenty of other ideas too.

Thanks, I've been reading, looking at others photos, and kinda playing with the photography thing. It's hard but I try. There really aren't many nice backgrounds around here. I actually think these are just okay but I'm being to over-critical (bad, bad, bad heh) about them already even though I'm still in the beginning stages of photography.

Yeah, I've seen it but without buying anything, that is the only place to mount. I think if I wedge a small towel in there too it may help take up space and maybe dampen the vibrations from the frame.

Nice Genesis coupe, you replaced my car! I drove the 3.8 V6 model with the 6 speed and i loved it, the interior is just like the Tiburon.

Draklen, was that taken down by the Huntington sports park / disc golf course / equestrian center?

Those shots are BEAUTIFUL.

Nope. The park in San Dimas where I was thinking about having the "meet."
Old San Dimas is a horse town and there are still a lot of horse owners around. That is "Horsethief Canyon Park." It's an old park and the tables there show it. Most areas are nice and some are horrible. There was a small Zoo/habitat on the hill behind the park but I don't know if it's still there. I forgot about it until just now.

//edit: Yeah the zoo isn't there anymore. And apparently there is a newer park, down a small street off the park I know, that also has the Horsethief Canyon Park name. Might have to go check that one out.

//Edit2: Ah the original park is just San Dimas Canyon Park and the little one is Horsethief Canyon Park.

Nice! I'll have to check those out next time I'm up in San Dimas - I do jobs at Raging Waters on occasion, so I wouldn't be far...
