Leedeth's Family 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan with Stow 'n Go

Post by Leedeth »

2006 Dodge Grand Caravan with Stow and Go seating.

3.3L V6 engine with 4-spd auto.

Bought for $11,500 CDN. Market price is averaged around $15,000 CDN.

Stow and go seating is very convenient. It folds right into the floor, flat on the floor. Very nice.

It doesn't seem to have much power. It says it has 200 hp but it feels like 100 hp.

Do you guys want pics? I'm not going to bother getting pics unless some people want it.

with FWD? THIS IS MADNESS
I bet the stow 'n' go compartments leave alot of room for a trans tunnel and a driveshaft tunnel... and a differential and axles in the back. :suspect:

Congrats. Looks like you got a good deal if they are really selling for 15k.

Maybe turn around and sell it for a profit?

Early 2000 models of the same van can be had for about half the price. But then of course, newer is nice. Maybe it's worth it in that sense for your family/dad/whoever bought it.

And pics are always mandatory

I just googled for its curb weight. They sure are heavier than they used to be! I guess they're not building them on extended sedan platforms anymore.

200hp for 4000-4400 pounds of curb weight is definitely no excitement machine, though it ought to be reasonable.

We rented one of these a couple years ago to go up to the cottage. My dad didn't know about the stow 'n go when packing so he left it empty. We ended up filling both sides of the stow 'n go with cases of beer on the way so it all worked out in the end. :D I got stuck sitting in the very back row and it was quite cramped.
Two pedals, two feet, too easy.
