We used to have Isuzu pickups based on the Rodeo.

That looks a bit like a rebodied version of the Mahindra pickup truck... the Indian company:

It doesn't look like it, but it projects the same no-BS cheap work truck attitude. I think the Mahindra could be work out pretty well.

Interesting thing about the Mahindra: It's small like a compact/mid-size pickup but it's rated for very heavy duty. At least, the last time I read about it, that was the case.
