2009 MINI Cooper
As I've said before I love my car. Felt the need to make a post solely about it.
Let's seeee..
2009 MINI Cooper
6 Speed Manual
Premium Package (Dual-pane sun/moon roof, automatic air conditioning, HiFi sound system)
Grey/carbon black leatherette interior
Cold weather package (heated seats, all-season tires, heated windshield washer jets, heated power fold mirrors)
Chrome line interior (adds chrome to all the accents)
Sport seats
White turn signals
Factory alarm
6 year 100,000 mile extended warranty
Grand total of just over $27,000 for the loan. 1.9% financing for a 3 year loan. Gap insurance just in case. =)
The car itself was $22,000 on the lot -- $23,650 with my purchase of all the decals/etc. Those come with a 6 year warranty against peeling and fading too... yay.
Purchased June 1, 2009. Just a little over 3,300 miles on it right now, I don't drive a whole lot. I need to.
Pics!
The more and more I drive the car, the more and more I love it.

Does the British flag disable the sunroof?

Re: 2009 MINI Cooper
Nah, I can still use it. It's a series of I think three decals so it doesn't disable it.
Here's what it looks like on the top.

I saw that and read it first as "H-one-F-one". D'oh!AKai47 wrote:HiFi sound system
Based on that inside facing up picture, I'd say it definitely removes the "sun" part until you open it.ElectroGhandi wrote:Does the British flag disable the sunroof?

It turns a moon roof into a sun roof.
Re: 2009 MINI Cooper
What's that big dial in the middle? It's the biggest gauge ever.
Re: 2009 MINI Cooper
Cops don't even need a radar to track how fast you're going with that. They can see your speedometer as you pass by.

Re: 2009 MINI Cooper
Haha, yeah, the speedometer took a while to get used to. When my dad drives it he has a bad habit of speeding so I usually glance over to it every few seconds to remind him to slow down. That part is pretty cool.
I got the roof decal mostly because I hate hate hate sun roofs. The decal lets in a very comfortable amount of sunlight into the car (the pics don't really show that well) and keep the sun from blinding you. Minis unfortunately don't have a way to hide their sun roofs like most cars, they just have a mesh that you can pull over it. I can take a picture of that mesh and submit that too.
I've never seen the interior of an Aston martin. Do they really look similar?
I'll post the specs on the car when I get to a pc. I'm on my iPhone right now so it's a pain to type.

Thats a moon roof, not a sun roof. A moon roof is glass, a sun roof is sheet metal/plastic/not see-through stuff.

Re: 2009 MINI Cooper
Thank you. I've always wondered what the difference was. I was told that the difference was whether the glass/transparent plastic was tinted or not but I didn't think that was true.watkins wrote:Thats a moon roof, not a sun roof.
