Sweet Mini! I love the British flags on the mirrors and sunroof. I bet that car's really fun to drive.

Your MINI, meet my MINI. Very similar specification to yours, but no automatic climate control, no sport seats, but plus chrome line exterior, rear fog, and 16" alloys.

I love the Oxygen Blue colour. Like the MINI's design, it's slightly retro-inspired. I think those are my favourite three colours on the Cooper--Sparkling Silver, Oxygen Blue, Nightfire Red.

Are you on NAM? I should do a post for my car. :D Maybe after exams.

No way, there's no way you have that plate. That's not a custom one. You can't have all numbers in the plate. And whatever plate you get is random, whatever they have on hand.

Photoshop. Though the numbers part of my plate is correct.

Leedeth, if you have a good ICBC guy, you can usually tell them the kind of numbers you're looking for and they can try to find something close. Like cell numbers. I asked him to find an 888 plate, he let me pick from like BHW 888, 888 JXJ, etc. So asian... it's an auspicious number!

My friend has 999 KXX... the KXX part confused me at first, I bet cops would get annoyed at that.

We have vanity plates (well here in BC we do) but they charge a fee for them, and IMO they look worse than regular plates.

Now we also have Olympics plates which my car's currently sporting (there's a fee for these too)--you're not allowed to use them past 2012 but you can keep it as a keepsake. :)

They have a lot of stupid laws, apparently. I am no expert on Canadian law, but David of davidsfarm had to get rid of all his cars because of some "Tidy Lawn" bilaw.

Also, I have organizational plates. In Maryland, you can either have the standard style, Chesapeake Bay Style, or Farm style. The organizational plates fall under the standard style category. I really like the Bay Plates, but they are really expensive. I know it goes to help the Chesapeake Bay, but I'm not made of money.

And this is what my plates look like. They are from my tennis league.
