jmpeace501's 2009 BMW z4

Post by jmpeace501 »

Hi Everyone - New to the forum and am posting some pics of my new 2009 BMW z4 that I got last week. sDrive30i, Manual Transmission, 3.0, 6-cylinder. It's my first manual tranny car and I'm LOVING driving a stick shift instead of an automatic. It actually makes driving a lot more fun again and knowing that it takes skill (one that you have to work long & hard at improving & perfecting) makes all the difference don't you all think? Glad to be apart of the new forum and looking forward to contributing as much as possible.

Thanks,
Michael

While I've always been one of those against-the-grain guys who always thought the Z4 was a beautiful car, I agree that they absolutely nailed it with this one. Beautiful hartop, great lines, nice evolution of the bodystyle.

And you picked the best color. Well done!!!

That car looks too good to be driven. It must be preserved.

Worst. Idea. EVER!

No car is too good to be driven. If it's that good then it's a worthless piece of crap because you can't drive it. If you're putting most of your miles on something other than the favorite of the cars you own, you are wasting your driving life when you could be enjoying your favorite. The only excuse is if you can afford to drive your favorite sometimes but can't afford the cost to DD it.

Holy fck nice car. it's probably the first z4 in a while that looks nice. I hate the new handbrakes they're putting in now though. :\ makes it feel too computerized.
