Graham's 12 year-old Horse (AKA 1998 Ford Mustang)

Yes it's a V6, but it does have a 5-speed. I was surprised, for the V6 it has quite a bit of power.

These are all the pictures I have for right now:

I like the wheels. It looks better than the Eclipse.

I actually had my Eclipse for like 6 months.

HOLY BALLS!!!!

The Borg-Warner transmission is good! IT SOUNDS BETTER THAN THE ENGINE - sounds like a big rig transmission.

The T5 is one of the worst transmissions ever put into a car, assuming thats what you have in it.

Regardless, your car ADD is impressive

I'm not familiar with the T5. What's bad about it?

I can't imagine changing cars so often. I take more than 6 months to get used to car, let alone to fully grok it...and if it's any good, it'll be a decade before I'm tired of it. My truck will probably rot to dust before I'm tired of it.

They destroy synchros and take out gears on a regular basis if you drive much harder than a granny. Third is the first gear to go.

No more Eclipse? My friend's father has the same Mustang, although it is an automatic.

Third is often the first gear to go or have its synchros let go regardless of the trans.

I think the T5 is a Ford Transmission if I'm not mistaken... JUST KIDDING - It's a Borg.

Either way, the transmission is perfect.

BTW: The tint will be removed as soon as I get the time to take it in to have it done (I hate doing it).

I sold the Eclipse for about $900 above book thanks to a guy who wanted to give my asking price with out trying to negotiate.

Nice dude. Throw these tires on her and you'll be even more badass. Hot Doritos indeed.

Tehehehe.

It's like Deja Vu... Looks 100% identical to mine when I bought it down to the purple tint. Mine didn't stay like that for too long though lol.

The T5 is probably the weakest part of the car. Granted I did learn on it and beat the piss out of that car, but I did start developing a grind whens shifting hard into 3rd not long before selling it. Other than that it was great. Only other part I ever broke was the driveshaft vibration dampener, just because the rubber was old and really cracked.

But trust me I beat the shit outta that car and then some, and it never failed me. I went through tires like water too :D

Any 98 v6 mustang specific questions feel free to ask me, I spent a lot of time under the hood of that car lol.

As for first mods if you plan on doing any, I'd STRONGLY suggest gears and an LSD. An RPM limited top speed of ~185mph doesn't do these cars any good and certainly kills acceleration beyond 1st gear. Also, you will spin the right rear tire a lot... haha.

I read your text and the picture was off the bottom of the screen. All I saw was that trailer and I couldn't figure out why he should put those tires on his car...

Those have to be some of the ugliest factory wheels ever made. And thats coming from someone who likes Saab wheels.
