New pics of the mustang
Finally got the lights/stripes put on. Sadly 2 weeks after I got the lights a very very stupid cheerleader backed into my car in the parking lot and cracked it...her insurance is paying for the new ones at least.

Re: New pics of the mustang
I would've stuck with the original lights and gotten GT fogs in the grille. The LED's in the new ones look too gaudy for me and the housing size is too small for vertical tier headlights.

I saw these exact headlights on a Mustang like yours just a few days ago. They stood out to me because they are not my cup of tea, but if you like them, then you shouldn't care.
I like the stripes.

Re: New pics of the mustang
Frankly, I think they look fine, I just don't like the LED strip there. If the quality of the projector halogen beam is good, then it's worthy upgrade. I personally prefer projector headlights, even if they are halogen and non-HID.

Re: New pics of the mustang
Thanks for the comments. I'm getting new headlights anyways because as I said a girl backed into me so my right light has condensation in it all the time and a crack. Not sure which ones I'm gonna get but AM came out with a project car for the v6 mustang and the lights on that thing look pretty sick.

Re: New pics of the mustang
sorry for being a dick dude, but those angel eyes/"halo" headlights are just as bad as the audi LED ones.
i would get the same ones you have now, just take the cheap-looking LED strip out of them and they would look great.
but then again, this is just my opinion. to each his own

I too have to chime in on the "here's how you should mod your car game" ( ). I myself would throw the stock units back in there and spend the insurance money on fog lights and corresponding grill. They are cheap, newtakeoff.com is your friend.
I don't mind the halo look really, I just like fog lights better.

Haha. I went through that phase as well. Not one of my finer moments in automotive decor. That and those ricer seat covers . Sorry, to get off topic. My personal preference would've been fogs and leave the stock headlights. But it's your car and your money. Car does look pretty nice with the stripe though.vedran wrote:^ agreed

Re: New pics of the mustang
Thanks mean appreciate the input. I don't think imma be doin nethin else to the car considerin its my 1st car. ill drive it for a few more years and then sell it and make some more money and buy myself either a GT or jus a whole diff. car. cause you don't really get the money back for all the mods you put into it

Re: New pics of the mustang
You never get the money back, mods or otherwise. The closest you can get is if you have bolt-on mods, you can do better if you put the car back to stock and sell the mods separately than if you sell the car with the mods on it...

Re: New pics of the mustang
That's also an option. Idk I'll figure it out. Can't resell the stripes but the lights would probably sell better if they were sold separately from the whole car and just put the stock ones back in.
