People used to ask if my '97 Grand Am was a stick shift because the automatic shifter had a leather boot and the top was almost ball-shaped.

I'm not going to lie and say that had the Evo X been offered in a 6 speed manual that I might have considered it, but the ability to cruise around town brainlessly but be able to switch to S-Sport for launch control and 3/10ths of a second shifts is pretty fun too. Its like a whole different experience from both an automatic and a manual. Technology ftw imho.
