Need some ideas for where to put them, interior or exterior suggestions?

Link just brings us to the front page of the site.

Edit: Works now.
I can't imagine anywhere those wouldn't look tacky. If they were red you could put them under your rear bumper and hook them up to brake lights, like a "line of fire" under a pickup tailgate:

Depending on size and brightness, it might be cool to put them in the foot wells to get that "ambient lighting" effect that's becoming OEM these days. I wouldn't put them on the exterior though.

Fairly sure using them on the exterior would be illegal in most jurisdictions.

If you're determined to use them, the least obnoxious application I can think of would be just inside the door sill plates or tucked away under the dash, located to illuminate the floor and wired to come on with the dome lights.

During his Rice years, my son had some underbody lights that could be switched to different colors. While cruising at night at the Woodward Dream Cruise, a cop rolled down his window and told my son NOT to run blue or red or he could be issued a ticket, those colors being reserved for lawn enforcement. White was OK.

See it all the time here.

They don't even look good. And if you're in a car, these f*ck blind you at night.

I got the word today that the lights shipped this morning and would arrive sometime in the next 12-21 days

As for where to put them, I like the idea of putting them on the door sills or under the dash to illuminate the foot wells which would be nice because the only other source of light in the car at night is the 2 dome lights that come on when the door is open.

Is there a good place to start looking for a wiring diagram?

Your local library's website may offer free home access to an online auto repair manual such as EBSCOHost Auto Repair Reference Center or Chilton's Online. If your car is late-model you may have to look at an earlier year. The library may also have a dead tree edition.

Web sites for alarm and remote starter companies may have what you need. Bulldog Security (google it) has a great database of wire colors/locations for everyone to use.

the12volt.com has a lot of info too.

If they're thin enough, I'd suggest sticking them to the bottom of the doors and wiring it so they come on when you open them. My S-Class has something like this so you can see what you're stepping in when you get out.

i like the idea of putting them under the doors but there isnt enough clearance for the doors to close. I have still not found any kind of wiring diagram but the hunt will continue I want to wire them to come on with the dome light when the door is open placement is the last of my worries wherever they go itll look good.
