I've deduced that it's Adam that bought the Miata, right?

Close! Mike. (Adam's brother) But Adam seems to like it just as much and he has dibs if Mike ever gets rid of it

Threadjack...

The other day I told my wife that the first time I saw you write PRNDL stick on here, I read it as a word, not as individual letters. So pronounced "pren-dle" stick. Now I can't do it any other way

i've always read it as PRIN-dull stick but pictured it spelled "prindle" like Pringles.

After a good half day spent detailing:

Image

Taken with my shitty G2 camera.

I used Meguiar's paint restoration kit. Came with some Meguiar's wash soap, 50gram clay bar, 2 foam applicator pads, 2 microfiber towels, Meguiar's Quik Detailer, Meguiar's Compound, and Meguiar's Wax. Pepboy's was having a sale on it, $17 for the whole shebang, so I said what the hell. Took 7 hours by hand and it's still not up to where I want it to be (need a buffer), but it is a lot better than the tired faded paint that plagued the car prior to this.

Looks nice and shiny! Then again, it was taken with that camera, so in reality, it probably looks like this:

I'm trying to figure out what kind of car that is ^^^^

I see the VW symbol, but I can't think any rear-engine VW cars other than the Beetle (which this is obviously not) or the old 412 models, which I believe came in coupe and wagon form.

Anyone know?
