bk7794s 2000 Honda Civic

Post by bk7794 »

So I've been looking for a car for a few years now. I waffled between a new or a used car, and all sorts of different used cars. I finally found one by accident.

Here it is a 2000 Honda Civic Ex

Very nice! My buddy got one of those exactly like yours in high school. I drove it and it was surprisingly quick and fun for just a mass produced commuter car. Though his had a sunroof, and even at only 5'10", my hair was touching the roof.

I vividly remember it not starting on one of the coldest days we had in Chicago in years. It was below zero and we tried push starting it. My hands hurt like hell

Thanks! I do see how that can happen. At just a hair under 6 foot I I need to adjust my seat and sit a certain way in order to miss the sunroof.

Looks clean....so what's the plan for your old car? Time to retire it? Selling it? Keeping on the road?

Thanks! I think my dad and I will use it periodically to take stress off the main daily drivers. Especially his car.

Actually that second shot has quite the freaky effect. Would work great on a hybrid brochure selling to environmentalists.

no.

"LX: Available as a four-door only. It included all standard equipment from DX plus 14-inch wheels, power windows, power locks, power mirrors, power steering, front stabilizer bar, front center armrest with storage compartment, cargo area light, cruise control, and tachometer. For 1997, the LX added air conditioning as standard equipment.

EX: Available as a coupé or sedan. It included all standard equipment from LX plus a higher-horsepower SOHC VTEC engine, power sunroof, air conditioning, remote entry system, plus body-colored side mirrors and side molding. ABS was standard on sedan only. For 1999, the EX added a cd player as standard equipment.[4]"

Like potownrob said, no :( Though its not too big of a deal. I'd rather take the EX over the LX any day of the week for its more powerful engine.

I assume you're talking about the one of the interior or the engine?
