Nice! My friend just leased a very similar truck in black. The 2.7 Ecoboost really gets that thing moving. :D

Yeah, the 2.7 wasn't even on my radar when I started shopping the F150. So far, I am very pleased. While the engine's only been out for a year, there really aren't any issues reported with it, unline the 3.5 in its early stages. Not that the 3.5tt is a bad motor - it's great - but it went through some teething stages. Hopefully they've learned a bunch from that when the 2.7tt was implemented.

It's been a little over 1 year and 17k miles with my F One Fiddy.

So here are my long-term impressions as well a few thoughts now that some time has passed and I've formed a few opinions.

The likes:

The 2.7 is a jewel; with 325 hp and nearly 400 lbs of torque I have never felt that power was lacking. I have no plans on tuning this truck, although there are lots of options for easy and inexpensive power. The 6-speed that I have has been replaced with a 10-speed in 2018 trucks, but I'm not sure I care. It only gains 1 MPG on paper and the 6-speed has been proven reliable while the 10-speed has not had enough time.

Truck drives solid - it's exceptionally quiet, drives well, there are ZERO squeaks or rattles anywhere, even on harsh bumps when you really feel that you're driving a truck.

The room. I have the supercrew (full size crew cab) and the back seats are almost always up with two dogs riding on the floor (the second dog is the GF's).

The dislikes:

None that I can think of, really.

Overall, I am very happy with it. I have towed only on 1 occasion, but the bed comes extremely handy for just about everything else - from camping trips when everything goes in the bed due to two dogs and GF inside to just picking up firewood for the house. I got the bed Line-X'ed when I first bought the truck; it is working great.

Did I miss something? Since when are there two dogburts?

My infrequent time behind the wheel of my friend's F-150 leave very similar impressions.

Yes, I have a fireplace in my apartment (technically not a house).

The second dog is the GF's dog. He's a 60 lb Border Collie-something mutt.
