So, I actually got around to doing some actual driving with the newly added stuff, and my car sounds like a turbo car now. Before, you can barely distinguish turbo-ness on my car from sound alone, since Mazda did such an amazing job at silencing it all (which is actually beneficial, sometimes). Now, the sound of moving air almost overpowers the actual sound of the engine now. It's an interesting sound.

Gonna take some getting used to. Maybe I'll post a vid or something so you guys can hear it.

I love releasing boost near cops. Theyre all "WTF mate?" because its clearly not a sports car and they dont know where the sound came from.

Nope, never driven a Speed3, and frankly, I don't really want to (it's faster, so I would probably get a little jealous).

...Wait, so the ignition is like a turny-switch type thing in place of where the key normally goes? But it works like the other proximity-sensor'd keyless entry ones?

I watched a vid of it on youtube but it was in an auto, and the guy pushes a button like most keyless ignition cars...

Yes...

The "turny-switch" is actually a cover that goes over the "real" ignition switch. You can use the backup "normal" key to start the car by taking the cover off. Otherwise, it's exactly the same as starting any other car, just without the need to insert a key.

Well on the Nissan ones, the remote is attached to the key ring which is often attached to the rest of the keys (house etc). The popout key is a quick release and isnt attached to the other keys. I dont trust people with my keys

Werd. My dad has a shit ton of keys and various bullshit on the keyring, the damn thing weighs at least 2 pounds. On mine, it's just the FC key, Mazda leather tag thing, rotary model keychain thing, 2 house keys and the Power Wheels key (a tribute to the now totaled Power Wheels).
